Overview

Denis & Sarah married in Saint Margare'ts church, Westminster in the heart of London Englland . This beautiful church is located next to Westminster Abbey, overlooked by houses of parliament & Big Ben. 1861 the family moved to the roman walled city of Chester, 1864 they moved back to London. 1867 they were in Birmingham. 1869 they travelled 10 miles west to the industrial town of Dudley & remained there for 18 years until the death of Denis in 1885.
Thomas & John emigrated to America. Denis & Alfred emigrated to Australia. Elizabeth, Mary, Annie, Sarah, William & Arthur remained in England.
