OVERVIEW

It is highly probable that Denis Lees was born on 30th December 1816, son of Thomas & Elizabeth Lees (nee Grady), in Montreal Canada, however there is also a slight possibility that he could have been born in Dublin, London or Birmingham, UK as no parish or or traditional birth records have been found.

According to the family bible, Denis Lees was one of seven children.

He died on 10th October 1885, in the family home at 7 Bath St, Dudley, Worstershire, England and was buried on 15 Oct 1885, in the Catholic Cemetery, Dudley, England within the church grounds, which is now paved over.
